Delete your Owner Driver account

Open Settings → Account → Delete account and cloud data. The app shows the date HMRC requires your business records to be kept until, asks you to confirm you have exported the records you need, and then asks you to type DELETE.

Records → Generate financial records gives you your full workbook. HMRC requires business records to be kept for at least five years after the 31 January filing deadline of the tax year they belong to — once your account is deleted, Owner Driver no longer holds them for you.

Your sign-in, your records and evidence files, and your accounting connections are removed from Owner Driver. Anything already sent to QuickBooks, Xero or FreeAgent stays there and must be managed in that software. Your Apple subscription is separate — cancel it in your Apple account settings.

Email support@ownerdriver.co.uk from the address on the account with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify it's you before deleting.
